Sweet Potato Biscuits

Sweet Potato Biscuits

You all know I am a sucker for an easy recipe. I want to use ingredients I probably already have, I don't want a list of more than a few steps, and if it takes more than 20 minutes to prep you can pretty much count me out. That normally leaves biscuits off the table, but not this time! I took Martha Stewart's sweet potato biscuit recipe and tweaked it to include ingredients I had on hand, and I did it in less than half the time she suggested. Apple Butter Recipe

When our realtor first brought us to what would be our current home we could not believe our eyes. The family who lived here before us was already well on their way to creating what we knew we wanted. There were chickens (which we inherited!), blackberry bushes, and fruit trees! Every day we feed them, we change their water, we clean their coop, we take care of any illnesses. We love them. Those animals produce manure, which we then shovel into buckets, carry across the property, and dump into a compost pile. That compost? It's...

Zucchini Bread Recipe (includes low sugar alternative)

When we pulled 80 lbs of zucchini and squash out of the garden after our vacation I knew we had to find something to do with it!
