Happy Friday, everyone!
This week has been a rollercoaster of feeling like the days are going slowly to blurred together, from overwhelming to straight boring. I don't know what is happening, but things are finally feeling normal again. We had a lot of work happen this past week so I wanted to share some of the highlights.
First of all, we have been selling a ton of framed "I love you more" and "today is a good day for a good day" signs. If you purchased one- thank you! We try to create new products as often as possible and sometimes they take a while to sell, or never do. It is really great when we think of something, put it together, and people respond. The trends change all the time of course, but we are happy to keep making these for now!
We have two other new products we are super excited about! First off, Matt made a dog bowl for Macy. It started out as a cute new item for her, but the response was so positive we had to make more. They aren't listed yet but they are available. So far we have two orders pending! Matt has the materials for 10 total so once they are listed we expect them to go pretty quickly.
Personally, my favorite this week is our new nursery sign. I truly believe that some of my best work comes from a fleeting thought in my head. It is not inspired by Pinterest, an image, or a custom order. It just appears. This sign is one example and I couldn't be happier with how it came out. The original already sold, but I should have a few more done over the weekend in case you are hoping to purchase one as a gift or for your own little one.
So basically this week was all about work. Of course we did have our yard work to do, chickens to feed, and plants to grow. We have blackberries ripening, blueberries starting to turn, and pear, apple, and plum trees all starting to fruit. It is amazing to think we are already enjoying the first summer in our home, but what better way to do it than with a whole bunch of fruit?
I hope all of you are starting to enjoy the moments of summer. I know my brother and sister just had their last day of school, as did a lot of littles this week. Summer vacations are coming up, it is getting hot, and the pools are open. We always try to plan fun things for the summers and only about a third happen. That's life right? I hope whatever events you get to do this summer, no matter how numerous, are wonderful. It is easy to think ahead and forget to enjoy the present, but sometimes the heat just seems to slow everything down. Rather than fight it, how about embracing it?
I'll leave you with that this week. Words of wisdom I suppose.
Until next Friday!
