Budget Travel: 16 Days in Vietnam Part 2

If you haven't read Part 1 yet, you can go back to it by clicking here! If you read Part 1, you know about the insanity of the first few days of our trip. Well, it didn't end there! After being sick from drinking the water for three days, riding together on a 110cc scooter until we dumped it in the road and a bird pooped on me, it was time to move on. So we did! We sold the scooter with the help of a hotel desk employee (thank God for Google translator!), then he helped us get on...

Costa Maya: A Slice of Heaven in Mexico

So I was going over my social media calendar today, realizing how much I am already struggling to find content to post every day (it has only been a month!). I started going through our travel stuff since that is usually pretty entertaining, and I was SHOCKED to see I hadn't posted anything about our day in Costa Maya, Mexico!!   The port was part of a cruise, but like most of our destinations in Central America we felt like we were able to make every minute count.    We had no plan, but after getting off the boat and...

Don't Eat The Pizza in Venice

So yes, we went to Venice. No we weren't overly excited about it, no we didn't have any great need to ride the gondolas, it was more so just a place we would explore since that's where our cruise left from. We had 48 hours in Venice, so what did we do? We DID NOT eat pizza. We DID NOT eat pasta We DID NOT ride a gondola.    Moving on...  We DID walk through an amazing city (some because we wanted to, and some because we were utterly, hopelessly, lost). We DID have some of the best seafood we...

Croatia: The Most Beautiful Place on Earth

In the last two years Matt and I have been to ten countries. When we left the states and flew to Venice for a Mediterranean cruise, all we cared about was Venice and Greece. Call us crazy, but we were giving in to the hype we had grown up with. What wasn't on our radar at all? Croatia. We pulled into the port in Dubrovnik, and we were immediately stunned at the beauty of the Croatian countryside. The Mediterranean style buildings were built into the hills surrounded by bright colored flowers and deep green trees. With a backdrop of mountains...
